The Clorox Company is looking for highly qualified individuals to come
work for a multi-billion dollar organization. The position involves
contributing both as an individual and as part of a team in delivering
consumer products processing projects and will participate on
cross-functional business teams interacting with plant management team
members, plant team members, vendors, customers, and other functions.

People
- Provide direction to processing, engineering, and maintenance
resources.
- Develop Safety and WCM/technical capabilities in Plant associates
- Deliver safety performance metrics within the plant
- Participate and audit thru AM teams
- T&Q: Direct training efforts to lines/processes with highest need.
- Support projects and drive results through involved teams and individuals
- Capital Operations
- Drive improvements to achieve glide path projections for OEE.
- Work cross-functionally with Quality, Safety, R&D teams on new
products, processes, procedures.
- Enable Innovation - new products/materials delivered on time, on
budget, following EO / PQ / TT process
- Ensure kaizen and other resources are being used to eliminate OEE and
$ losses.
Strategic Management/Plant Initiatives
- Participate and drive Breakthrough initiatives for the facility
- Lead Quality initiatives and drive metrics within your department and
the plant
- Lead Safety initiatives and drive safety metrics within your
department and the plant
- Participate in all daily and Monthly Board reviews, Priority Plan
updates
- Participate on all corporate initiatives, to support Clorox or the
charcoal business, as requested/required.
Qualifications:
- BS in EE, ME, IE, or Chem E
preferred or equivalent experience.
- Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher, be a U.S.
citizen or permanent resident and have legal right to regular employment
in the U.S.
- Preferred work experience in a manufacturing setting, preferred
experience in a high-speed Packaging environment.
- Solid mechanical and analytical skills-problem solve and drive
improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and
written).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and as an
individual contributor.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact, influence, and
communicate with multiple levels of the organization.
- Planning and organizing - efficient work, prioritize, develop a plan
and execute.
- Ability to work off shifts as required for training or monitoring.
- Computer skills i.e. MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- 0-3 years of related job experience
Note-This is a 18-36 month position. The candidate must be able to
rotate after the assignment.
