BRENCO, producer of tapered roller bearings for the railroad industry
has an immediate need for an Mechanic. Brenco is part of larger company
- Amsted Rail. ASF-Keystone, Brenco and Griffin Wheel, offer quality
solutions that combine castings, bearings and wheels from all three of
the Amsted rail divisions, providing some 90% of your freight car
undercarriage requirements from one reliable source. Looking for:
Experienced Industrial Mechanics and Electricians: Many Positions
This High Energy Person Will be Responsible for:
- Ensuring operation of mechanical systems to include hydraulics,
pneumatics are operating proficiently to meet our customer demands
through performing preventative maintenance,
- Handling all equipment
breakdowns, and assist manufacturing as required to ensure the process
is running efficiently.
- Other duties include recommending and
implementing corrective actions for continuous improvement of safety,
productivity and quality.
- Prior experience as a Mechanic / Electrician in a manufacturing
environment required.
Minimum Qualifications for Mechanical Maintenance:
- Back ground in mechanical repair including: industrial, heavy truck,
automotive, or farm equipment
- Basic understanding of: Hydraulic /
pneumatic components:Bearing handling / installation
- Ability to
troubleshoot to component level
- Plumbing/piping Component replacement
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to read and
understand blue prints
- Good communication skills
2 years prior mechanical experience
Minimum Qualifications for Electrical Maintenance:
Background in industrial / commercial electrical trade
- Ability to read and interpret ladder diagrams
- Ability to work with 480 high voltage equipment.
- Has electrical installation / panel building skills
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical problem
- Has some PLC knowledge
- Understands A/C and D/C motors and control
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- 2 years prior electrical experience
- Good communication skills
- Two Year Technical Degree Preferred or Equivalent Experience
